Refund Policy

At Southern Birthing Solutions, LLC ("we", "our", or "us"), we are committed to providing exceptional full-spectrum Doula services to support you throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. We understand that circumstances can change, and we want to ensure that our refund policy is transparent and fair. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our services.
By booking services with Southern Birthing Solutions, LLC, you ("Client") agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.

1. Non-Refundable Deposit
To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit reserves your Doula’s time and commitment to providing you with personalized services, including prenatal meetings, labor support, and postpartum care. The deposit amount will be clearly communicated during the booking process and is typically 25% of the total fee.

2. Refunds for Cancellation
If you decide to cancel the services after your initial deposit has been made, the following refund guidelines apply:

Cancellation More than 30 Days Before Service Date: If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled due date or service, you are eligible to receive a 50% refund of any amount paid beyond the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation Between 15-30 Days Before Service Date: If you cancel between 15 and 30 days before the scheduled service date, you are eligible for a 25% refund of any amount paid beyond the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellation Less Than 15 Days Before Service Date: If you cancel less than 15 days before your scheduled service, unfortunately, we are unable to issue any refund for the amount paid beyond the non-refundable deposit. This is due to the commitment of time and resources allocated to your care.

Cancellation on the Day of Service or After Service Begins: If cancellation occurs on the day of service or after services have already been provided, no refund will be issued.

3. Refunds for Services Not Rendered
In the unlikely event that Southern Birthing Solutions, LLC is unable to provide the services you have booked (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or emergency), a full refund will be issued for the portion of services not rendered. If any services have been provided, those will be billed at the pro-rated rate and deducted from the refund.

4. Refunds Due to Medical Emergencies or Complications
If there are unexpected medical complications or emergencies that prevent you from utilizing the services as planned, Southern Birthing Solutions, LLC may offer a partial refund or credit for future services at our discretion. We will work with you to determine a fair solution in the event of medical emergencies. We require official documentation from your healthcare provider in these cases.

5. Rescheduling Policy
If you need to reschedule a meeting or service, please provide at least 24 hours notice. We will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to availability. If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours in advance, a rescheduling fee may apply.

6. Refunds for Doula Perinatal Support
If you are dissatisfied with the Doula services provided during prenatal visits, labor and birth, or postpartum visits please contact us directly. We will evaluate your concerns and may issue a partial refund based on the circumstances and evidence provided. Any dissatisfaction should be communicated within 7 days of the actual date of service to allow for timely resolution. Please note that refunds are not typically issued for services during labor unless there is a significant issue that falls outside of our agreed-upon services.

7. Refund Process

A brief explanation of the reason for cancellation or refund request

The date of the scheduled service
Refunds will be processed within 7-14 days from the date of approval, and payments will be issued through the original payment method unless otherwise agreed upon.

8. No Refunds for Additional Costs
Refunds do not cover any additional costs incurred by the Client for third-party services, such as transportation, accommodations, or any medical or facility fees.

9. Changes to the Refund Policy
Southern Birthing Solutions, LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. It is the Client's responsibility to review this Refund Policy periodically for any updates. By continuing to use our services after such changes are posted, you agree to the updated terms.
